New currency sources at iQurrency: NBP and PBC now available

At iQurrency, we are constantly innovating to best support our users in their financial processes. That is why we recently added two new currency sources to our platform: the Polish National Bank (Narodowy Bank Polski, NBP) and the Chinese central bank (People’s Bank of China, PBC).

NBP added at client’s request

The addition of the Narodowy Bank Polski (NBP) was made at the request of one of our clients facing corporate tax in Poland. In that case, it is mandatory to use the official exchange rates of NBP when converting foreign currencies to Polish zloty. Thanks to this extension, clients can now use this source directly, without manual intermediate steps or conversions via external tools.

PBC important because of trade with China

The second source, the People’s Bank of China (PBC), has been added because of increasing business transactions with China. As an economic powerhouse, China plays an important role in international trade relations. With official PBC exchange rates at their fingertips, users can now work even more accurately and reliably when processing payments or doing financial analysis in Chinese yuan.

More flexibility beyond existing sources

Until recently, iQurrency already offered support for European Central Bank (ECB) exchange rates and Open Exchange Rates (OER). With the extension to NBP and PBC, we now offer even more flexibility and coverage for our users in an international context.
