When you do business with countries in the Euro zone reliable financial data in your administration, like correct exchange rates, are essential.When you work with the Exact Online accounting program, there are several ways to update this exchange rate.

Option 1

Read in the GBP / EUR exchange rate via an automatic link

Automatically read the GBP / EUR exchange rate? Choose to automatically import exchange rates. With iQurrency this is easy with an automatic link between the ECB and/or OER (Open Exchange Rates)) and Exact Online. This online service automatically updates currency rates daily without the need to import a file.

Option 2

Adjust the GBP / EUR exchange rate manually in Exact Online

To adjust the EUR, navigate to the following screen: Financial > Analysis and results > Currencies > Exchange rates. Then select the rate and adjust it. If the EUR is not listed among the currencies, you must create it first. To do this, choose the option new .

Option 3

Import the EURO into Exact Online

Every day, the ECB and the OER provide xml files with the current exchange rates, including the EUR. It is possible to import these rates via an XML file.
