Manually adjusting exchange rates

You can manually add and adjust foreign currencies in Exact Online. To do so, navigate to the exchange rate screen.

Take the following steps: Finance > Analysis and results > Currencies > Exchange rates. Here, you can select the exchange rate and adjust the value. You can also add new currencies in this menu.

Importing exchange rates into Exact Online

You can import exchange rates via an XML file. These are provided by the ECB and OER on a daily basis. This way, you won’t have to manually update the exchange rates.

You’ll find that manually adjusting or periodically importing data requires regular action on your part, which you’ll have to remember. Errors may occur, or you may forget to update the data.
